If Covid-19 has taught us anything, it’s that being in an unhealthy physical condition has consequences. In some circumstances, dire consequences.

People with comorbidities (generally defined as the presence of two or more chronic diseases in the same person) are at a much higher risk of greater suffering if infected than the metabolically healthy.

Both the U.S. and the U.K. report that more than 50% of their adult populations are clinically obese. Combine that with the ever-increasing rise of Type 2 diabetes and and it’s easy to see why both countries have had such a problem with the virus.

Interest in personal physical improvement has been rising steadily in the past year as a result. Which has led many to the internet in search of help. This has resulted in a plethora of unscrupulous hucksters trying to separate you from your hard-earned cash with promises of tremendous ‘overnight’ transformations. Don’t fall for their scam. Those of you looking to reinvent your physical body want to do so for a reason. Whatever that reason is, know this: You didn’t get to this point overnight and you won’t become the ’new you’ that you desire overnight either. You simply cannot reverse years of laziness and poor choices in a mere few weeks. But you know that, right? If that is what they are selling, then run in another direction. Fast. There are a host of honest and talented coaches out there that can help guide you toward achieving your dreams. I am but one.
